Extra-Curricular Activities

Students enrolled in Wickenburg Virtual Academy (WVA) are welcome to participate in athletics and extracurricular activities at their local WUSD school, including Wickenburg High School, Festival Foothills, and Vulture Peak. To take part, students are expected to follow the same school handbook policies and procedures as all other students participating in sports, clubs, and school-sponsored activities.

WVA students are also subject to the same eligibility requirements, participation fees, and athletic/activity guidelines. For athletics, students must meet the grade eligibility standards established by the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA), as well as all school eligibility requirements.

To remain eligible for athletics and activities, students must maintain good standing at WVA through satisfactory attendance and academic performance.

 Any student wanting to participate in athletics must be complete the athletic clearance packet and get a current physical prior to trying out for a sport. This is done through RANK ONE.
